This is the award we received when The Flying Fish Sailors won the Best Traditional Folk category of the 2008 Houston Press Music Awards. It is a handmade iron sculpture by Houston artist and longtime friend Mik Miano.

Congratulations, guys! You are the berries.
We’re still alive and waiting for another show. Are you coming to Austin this year? You may have to do a benefit in Elm Mott if you wait too long, we may drink up all our funeral money.
